This book is the first of a series: "How I Survived Middle School" it tells the story of a girl, Jenny, whose best friend Addie dumps her on the first day of middle school, having decided that she is too cool to be her friend. Addie then joins a new group of friends, the Pops (short for popular), and doesn't want to have anything to do with her anymore. Jenny is miserable and lonely. She sits alone in the corner at lunch. Then she finds a website:www.middleschoolsurvival.com , that helps her though the first few days. Then a girl called Chloe invites her to eat lunch with her group of friends, and a quiz at  middleschoolsurvival.com says her new friends are perfect for her!!! Will Jenny move on from Addie? Will her new friends take her in permanently?
